Kadima provides monthly social and educational opportunities for children who are in the 4th through 6th grades, including the annual Kadima Kinnus at Camp Ramah which brings together Kadimaniks from across the Far West Region for a weekend of Shabbat experiences, social programs and ruach, all planned and led by USYers.  Our Kadimaniks return from Kinnus inspired and excited to get more involved and active in our youth programs.  Each spring, our 6th graders attend the 6th Grade Kinnus, where they formally “graduate” to USY and are prepared for the transition to middle school and USY in the coming year.  AAE Kadimaniks look forward to our monthly programs, including such annual favorites as UltraZone & ColdStone, Indoor Skydiving and Shabbat Dinners with USY.  We also host a monthly “Lunchtime Lounge” in the Goodman Youth Lounge where Kadima members are invited to spend their lunch period eating lunch, relaxing with friends and enjoying our awesome Wii system, ping pong and foosball games and of course, eating popsicles.

Our Kadima & Jr. USY advisor is Tamar Resnick, a lifelong AAE member and an alumni of both USY and our Day School.  Tamar recently graduated from UC San Diego and brings with her many years as a camper and staff member at Camp Ramah in California, serving as Rosh Sollelim in 2010.
